This place is crazy, everybody's always trying to have their own version of the photo of the Abbey Road album, from the Beatles, taken at the same place back in 1969.

Many expressions and attitudes at the same time, it's really dynamic. The old man under the lamp on the other side of the cross probably is thinking "All of them are crazy !!" :)

Thanks lol I would love to have a beetle in the picture too... Did you know it is in a museum!? And people kept stealing its license plate before that :yum: :lmao:

You've done several pieces like this in the past, but this one is unique for me because it's got that 50's street feel. The young couple, prancing across the street, the lady in the foreground, smiling for whatever reason (we don't know what it is, but does it really matter?), the schoolkids, all standing, discussing the things that at this time in their lives seem so important. You've really captured a slice of Americana this time Rein, Excellent job.

You are so right about this! The 50's feel is there, and I was also happy that I could get such a good candid, expressive shot of that iconic special place! I was surprised with myself after I saw this pic on the computer afterwards :D
