The same umbrella is my dream!!)) I look it for all this summer and autumn!)) but i can't to find it in Moscow's shops( so, i'm jealous you in a good :-РР ))) this is a very good idea, but i don't like warm filter and the less of contrast in this photo. Blue colour should be one of the main colours, but you supress it. All in all it is a pretty picture) P.S. ... I'm very wicked :-Р
I must say, I had one rainbow umbrella, ruined it on my photoshootings, then I just bought another one, which is ALSO ruined, and now I can't find another Well, at least they were well used and pictured on my photographs... I know what you mean about the lack of contrast though... I too didn't like this one much to be honest but I do like some of the other rainbow photos... I tend to be very critical about my own work.
It's always my pleasure. You've really got a gift for what you do. I find it quite joyful to share your premo inspiration! I also occasionally see your work circulating with no credit.. to which I humbly request the adding of credit, if I'm able to get in contact with such persons.
Oh my, do you see it!? Please do send me the link if you can, whenever you see it! I don't make any restrictions to people that want to share my work, only credits, and I actually appreciate it, but people still continue not to give the proper credits!
When I come across them, I will send you the link from now on. I'm so used to seeing art without credit on Tumblr that when I see some that I know of, I'm simply dying to add credit so that's what I focus on hah. I'll skim through my history of posts, cause I know there's one that I reblogged recently to add credit. There was also one that was just flat out saved from my post with sufficient credit and posted onto someone's blog as if it was their own. I contacted tumblr staff about that and they got the post removed. I still wish they would freeze that account..
Those internet issues are annoying. It is good in a way, because we can get exposure and our work easily seen by a lot of people, but on the other hand once posted on the web we lose the control over our art... I guess we should just learn to deal with it and try to do whatever we can when we find stolen stuff...
Hey, It's my very favorite Prop! Seriously dude, I love that umbrella and everything you've done with it! That aside, it's a beautiful piece, and perhaps there's a metaphor here? Harsh Reflections within the very things that make us feel safe? Perhaps not, still, it's striking, as usual, the visual quality is great, you've done yet another excellent job. : )
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Thought I won't be doing much pictures now, because I have already bought two of these umbrellas and ruined them all in the photoshootings... It's not that it wasn't worth it, but now I can't find it anymore on the stores... lol I'm glad you raised the metaphor up because I thought about that safety thing when I put the mirror inside thete, but I just thought it wasn't a clear metaphor...
