I was traveling then I got lost and didn't have any idea where to go. Then I saw a man on the road and asked him directions. He said that I would see a "yellow tree" after a while and then I should turn right. Then, after I saw the tree I was thinking that of course I would have turned right if I saw this, I don't know but it was kinda inviting me to do so!

So, imagine that you are driving your car and suddenly you see such enormous beautiful tree just in front of you, what would you do? I was lucky that there wasn't traffic at the time I spotted this, otherwise I'd have crashed my car. Then, I had to stop and take some pictures before I turn right on the tree.

I've also read on a newspaper that there is a tree just like this on another place, but it is on a busy street, and people often crash when it's in bloom. "Fortunately" it's only in bloom for about less than a month :lol:




Heavily processed in HDR to get this surreal and dreamy feeling, but I think it turned out well.

I like how the sun looks at the top. TheSun usually looks weird in my HDR shots. Around what region was this taken in?

Thanks man! And you have to remember that I shoot in RAW, it's much better for the tone mapping in HDR. This was taken last month at the entrance of Congonhas, when the yellow ipes (:lol:) were in bloom. I went to Tiradentes to spend the weekend and I passed on Congonhas and São João Del Rei. I think we should arrange a trip for us too to do a photoshoot ;)
