For me, the man is carrying his heart as if he could not handle it inside himself, as if it had become a bourden and got bigger than him. I hope you all dig the concept here and feel free to have your own interpretation of the scene, and I'd be happy to read them.
I was also unsure about this, I had a little trouble deciding if the all black and white version would be better than this one. Please tell me what you think!
This is my first of two images I will come up with for the Valentine's. A bit early I know, but just to get in the mood, even though Valentine's day is just on June 12th in my contry, Brazil.
To me it looks like he blows a ballon in shape of heart. It's silly but that was my first thought when I saw the photo. It's really amazing,I really love it! Bravo!
i love the contrast but im still wondering what it exactly is he is holding is it actully part of him or something else? other than that it would be really cool if you could bring out more color in the man he seems really faded.
Beautiful capture! I actuall like how the background remains black and white, while the man and his heart remain in colour; the man becomes the focal point in the image and the composition is all the more powerful. I love the textures of the clay caked upon the man and his heart, and the interpretations of this man as a potter. I like to think that he crafted that heart to show people how to love.
other than that it would be really cool if you could bring out more color in the man he seems really faded.
But I am going to have decline.
With respect!

PS Nice one though!
