Humanity has been told this for decades now and still do the same thing.

Its inevitable.

It's surprising what the impact of a broken umbrella can have in an image like this. I think it helps that you've made use of these things (how many of them are there, anyways?) in many other images that are far more fantastical and hopeful. It represents, to me, some sort of destruction of these dreams and happiness, and I was instantly saddened.
The tones of your colours as well had quite the impact; it's not the same sort of dreamy/hazy/soft sort of tones you usually use.

Yap, yap. Volcanos are too dangerous, earthquakes destroy whole cities. Storms, inundations, polar waves... all these kill people. And maybe there was inevitably over time, but what you saying here is the human being is making the world unhabitable, and you're absolutely right.. Yes, the Nature isn't too good with us, but with smoke, wars, weapons, violence in every place, ignorance, we don't collaborate to make this a better world D:
Thanks for share, I love your photos ^^
And sorry for my english, haha.

Yep people are misunderstanding it in a way. What is important is that we are destroying our planet, whatever issue we gotta blame for the mass destruction, but the message is given ;)

I do not destroy my planet. On the contrary, this planet tries to destroy me, with bugs, bacteria, viruses, cold and heat, dangerous animals, volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, changes in the geomagnetic field. You know, last year in march, tens of thousands of Japanese people, children and old people alike, were killed by this planet. Yet I don't hear you mourning for those who are killed by "mother Gaia".

Nuclear war is going to end the human race. Natural disasters are inevitable...

Natural disasters can be prevented. There is even a famous movie with Bruce Willis about one such event: NASA prevents an asteroid from a collision with Earth, which would have terminated life on the planet.

Maybe, as an engineer, you should focus more on building a future, rather than scaring people with stuff like apocalypse. xD

I think we can survive climate changes. What we can't survive is the main problem of our modern society in my opinion: nuclear war.

IS ANYONE AWARE THAT A SHITLOAD OF THAT IS PRACTICALLY HARMLESS! they don't just burn coal n other minerals then DIRECTLY pump the gases out the mine or factory straight into the air, there are 3 HUGE air filters that the gases go through b4 they are released back into the air about 95-97% of that is harmless but lots of u will think I'm trolling cuz of my avatar n don't fuken msg me saying "ppl like you are destroying our planet!"

Relax my friend, the message is given, we are destroying our planet one way or another, of maybe we are destroying just ourselves since probably the planet can recover after mass destruction to still hold life without human beings. I am an engineer and I know what I am doing, so relax, what's more important is the message given in conceptual art ;)

No need to yell or get angry. This is an art website, not a science website, so most people here are completely ignorant about these issues and have little to no actual knowledge about that stuff; they're just repeating hearsay and stating how they "feel". So just relax and laugh about them, they are exactly the kind of people that fall for the DHMO stuff. ^^

Two wrongs don't make a right. It is not acceptable to lie, in order to get across a message, however noble you may deem it.
